7 oz or 2% Greek-style yogurt
½ c water
¼ avocado
2 Tbsp ground flaxseed
½ tsp pumpkin spice pie
Blend all ingredients until smooth.
Pumpkin offers both beta-carotene alpha-carotene, both convert into vitamin A precursor retinol, a skin-supporting nutrient essential for cell growth and development.

20 ice cubes
2 c cubed cantaloupe (about ½ melon)
6 oz low-fat plain yogurt
3 Tbsp sugar
½ tsp grated fresh ginger
Combine ice cubes, cantaloupe, yogurt, sugar, and ginger in blender and puree until smooth.
This smoothie contains both beta-carotene and a smidge of alpha-carotene.

1/2 cup plain coconut water
2 frozen ripe bananas
1 cup chopped pineapple
1 cup chopped mango
2 cups spinach or kale
1/2 avocado
1 tablespoon flaxseed oil
Blend on high for at least three minutes to create a thick, frothy emulsion. Add more coconut water if the mixture is too thick.
